Rob received the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Set Designer for Troilus and Cressida, Vassa and Richard III. He was nominated for Best Costume Design in the same year (for Troilus and Cressida and Money) and for Best Set Designer in 1996 (for The Glass Menagerie), 1997 (for Chips With Everything) and 2001 (for The Caretaker). Our House won the 2003 Olivier Award for Best Musical. In 2006, he received an Olivier Award for Best Set Design for Hedda Gabler as well as a Best Costume Design nomination.
