Jeanne Pratt AC
Jeanne Pratt is a Director of Visy Industries, the world's largest privately owned packaging, paper and recycling company. Together with her husband Richard Pratt, she established The Pratt Foundation in 1978 with a vision to provide support to charities throughout Australia & the world. In March 1998 Jeanne established The Production Company, a not-for-profit theatrical company specifically assembled to showcase talent & to stimulate the Melbourne & Australian theatre industry. A Life Governor of the Australian International Opera Awards, Patron of the Melbourne Theatre Company & member of the Advisory Committee for Her Majesty’s Theatre, Jeanne was also Chairman of Opera Foundation Victoria for 20 years, a Director of Melbourne Theatre Company & Spoleto Melbourne, now Melbourne Festival for 10 years. In June 2002, Jeanne was one of eight people and the only woman to be awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday honours.
