Ben is an actor, musician and international musical theatre performer. He is currently starring in the award winning musical Jersey Boys in the role of Tommy DeVito.
Ben grew up in the steel town of Newcastle, Australia. He was originally a construction worker by day and wrote songs and fronted rock bands by night. He trained vocally at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and went on to study Opera Voice at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
[ READ MORE ]In 2004, Ben originated the role of Billy Kostecki in the world premiere production of Dirty Dancing at Sydney's Theatre Royal for Jacobsen Entertainment. He has since performed in every English speaking production of Dirty Dancing including the original Australian/New Zealand Tour, West End Premiere (London), North American Premiere (Toronto) and the U.S National Tour.
Other musical theatre credits include HAIR directed by David Atkins, the role of Stewpot in South Pacific, and the lead role of Billy in the original Side Show Alley workshop directed by Gale Edwards. Opera credits include The Pirates of Penzance, The Magic Flute, The Mikado and Don Giovanni. He performed as soloist for Opera in the Park in the Hunter and has sung the US national anthem for the Chicago Bears and the Boston Celtics.
As an actor Ben has appeared in guest roles on Australian TV dramas Blue Heelers and All Saints.

Amanda's performance credits span three continents including the USA, the UK and Australia. She made her professional debut playing Jenny in Aspects of Love. Other theatrical credits in Australia include Betty in Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables, The Journey Girl, Ellen in Miss Saigon, Liza in The Boy From Oz, Ellie in Leader Of The Pack and We Will Rock You, for which she was awarded the 2004 Helpmann for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Oz.

On London's West End Amanda has appeared as Ali in Mamma Mia! She was also an Original London Cast member of We Will Rock You. Amanda's TV appearances in the UK include Parkinson, Children In Need and guest roles in Oscar Charlie, Grange Hill and Casualty. As a finalist in the inaugural Voice of Musical Theatre for BBC Radio 2, Amanda featured in a BBC documentary about the competition Broadway Babies, which aired throughout the UK and Australia. In New York Amanda sang at Carnegie Hall in Australia Plays Broadway as part of G'day Australia Week in 2009.
Amanda is most well known for originating the role of Elphaba in the Australian production of Wicked for the Gordon Frost Organisation. For playing the role, Amanda was nominated for Green Room, Helpmann and Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. She is delighted to be appearing once again for GFO in their World Premiere of An Officer And A Gentleman.

Alex's theatre credits include Raoul on London's West End in Cameron Mackintosh's The Phantom of the Opera, Robert Martin in Melbourne Theatre Company's The Drowsy Chaperone and Older Patrick in The Production Company's Mame, for which he received a Green Room Award nomination. Most recently, Alex appeared as Billy Crocker in Anything Goes after playing Peter Allen's partner Greg Connell in The Boy From Oz, both for The Production Company.
[ READ MORE ]Prior to that Alex starred in The Boy Friend (Tony), Camelot (Lancelot), Kiss Me, Kate (Gremio), Annie Get Your Gun and The Pajama Game for The Production Company. He played dual roles of Joe Kennedy Jr and Jerry in their final 2011 production, Grey Gardens.
Further theatre credits include the New Zealand and Korean tour of The Rocky Horror Show (Brad Majors), Fiddler on the Roof (TML), Sideshow Alley the Musical (QPAC), solo shows A Momentary Act and, for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Experiment; and a range of concert and benefit appearances including City of Stonnington's Musical Melodies in the Park and Very Special Kids remembrance days.
On television Alex has had roles on Channel Ten's Rush and the ABC's Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.
Alex is a graduate of The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
He is delighted to join Gordon Frost Organisation for the first time in the role of Sid Worley in their world premiere production of An Officer and a Gentleman.

Kate has an extensive career in theatre, television and film. She is best known for her ongoing role as Detective Angie Piper in Channel 9's hit TV series Stingers. Her most recent television work includes the US TV series The Starter Wife, the ABC black comedy The Librarians and the US drama series The Pacific. More recently, Kate has had guest roles in popular Australian series such as City Homicide (Channel 10) and Rush (Seven Network).

In 2005, Kate starred as Stephanie in the Melbourne Theatre Company's production of Cheech, and then held the lead role of Beatrice in the Australian Shakespeare Company's Much Ado About Nothing. Then in 2007, she starred as Marguerite in the production of The Lover, which opened to rave reviews. Kate also appeared in Malthouse Theatre's production of Kitten and later starred in their production of Furious Mattress. In that same year, Kate played leading role of Ulrike Meinhof in Melbourne International Arts Festival production of Richter/Meinhof-Opera.
In 2011, Kate completed a hugely successful season of MTC's musical production Next to Normal and also started work in a recurring role for Conspiracy 365 television series for the Family Movie Channel.
Kate's film work includes King of the Mountain, On the Beach and more recently, the leading role of Katherine in the film Belladonna. In 2009, she filmed the feature Matching Jack and then this year finished working on Eliminated.
In 2004 Kate was nominated for the Most Outstanding Actress in a Television Series at the Logie Awards for her work in the television series Stingers. And in 2007, she was nominated for the Green Room Awards Best Solo Performance award for her work on The Lover.

Bartholomew John has been a professional actor, singer and presenter for over thirty years evolving into an accomplished and admired leading man and screen actor.
He has worked extensively across film, television and theatre both nationally and internationally and most recently appeared in the World Premiere Australian production of Doctor Zhivago in the role of Victor Komarovsky.

Bartholomew's repertoire further includes Side by Side, Company, Arsenic and Old Lace, Private Lives, Faces in the Street, Playbox and Mary Lives.
He has considerable television credits including some of Australia's most popular drama classics. These include Always Greener, All Saints, Heartbreak High, Murder Call, The Young Doctors, Skyways, Matlock, The Sullivans, The Challenge, Number 96, Tales of the South Seas, and Tough Nuts.
Bartholomew's film credits include Space and Beyond, Dynasty Behind the Scenes and the 2003 film Lucy - The Lucy Ball Story.
His voice can be heard behind several feature films and advertisements which include Superman Returns, Australia, Daybreakers and Mao's Last Dancer.

Bert LaBonte completed his degree in Performing Arts at the University of Ballarat in 1995. Theatre credits include Clybourne Park (2011), A Behanding in Spokane (2011), Richard III (2010), The Hypocrite (2009), Don Juan in Soho (2008), Madwoman of Chaillot (2007), Tom Foolery (2006), and A Female of the Species (2006) for the Melbourne Theatre Company; The Grenade (2010) for the Sydney Theatre Company; Much Ado About Nothing (2003) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (2005) for Essential Theatre; and The Inner Sanctum (2004) for La Mama.

A graduate of the National Dramatic Institute of Arts, Tara has worked extensively in theatre, film and television. Her first film out of NIDA was Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom for which she was nominated for a British Academy Film & Television Award (BAFTA). Other film roles include Oranges & Sunshine alongside Hugo Weaving, David Wenham and Emily Watson, Miracle Fish, September, Razzle Dazzle, Candy alongside Geoffrey Rush, Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish, Moulin Rouge, Hildegarde, Hotel Sorrento, Square One and Metal Skin.

Josh Piterman is one of the up and coming leading men of Australian Musical Theatre, who graduated from the University of Ballarat Arts Academy (Musical Theatre) in 2006.Almost immediately after he graduated Josh joined the International pop opera sensation The Ten Tenors. During this time he performed on numerous TV shows and in concert halls, arenas and theatres in every continent. He then went on to understudy and perform the role of George in The Drowsy Chaperone alongside Geoffrey Rush for the Melbourne Theatre Company.
[ READ MORE ]Following the success of this production, Josh had his big break when in 2010/11, he played the lead role of Tony in the Australian national tour of West Side Story for Michael Brenner, BB Promotions GmbH, Howard Panter, Ambassador Theatre Group, The Bartner Group, Norman Tulchin, Lunchbox Theatrical Productions and David Atkins Enterprises.
Last year Josh played The Caliph in Kismet for The Production Company, Michael in Grease 2 for StageArt and performed his debut solo concert with John Foreman and his band in Sydney. Josh is thrilled to be a part of the An Officer and A Gentlemen cast, after performing the same role in the original workshop back in 2009. He would like to thank the team at Result Based Training and Dance Dynamics for getting him in shape for this role. He'd also like to thank his incredible family, in particular his beautiful wife Hayley, and his agent Liz Ellis, for their constant love, faith, support and never-ending belief in him.

In 2001 Zahra moved from Jamaica to Brisbane with her family, and soon began working with Harvest Rain Company, appearing in a variety of musicals and plays. These included Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Oliver, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. Zahra then studied for a Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Acting) at the University of Southern Queensland, where she received the Alan Edwards Scholarship for excellence in her first year.
[ READ MORE ]She then went on to study for a Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Acting) at the VCA where, in her second year she was the recipient of the Richard Pratt Bursary for an Outstanding Actor.
Following her graduation in 2008, Zahra began a string of performances with the Melbourne Theatre Company, including Rockabye, Richard III, Clybourne Park and the Australian premiere of The Drowsy Chaperone performing alongside Geoffrey Rush and Robyn Nevin. She has also toured nationally with her critically acclaimed one woman show Random. In between her theatre commitments Zahra found time for a lead guest role in the Network 10 TV series Rush.

Josef is perhaps best known for originating the role of Johnny Castle in the West End, US and Australian productions of the hit-musical, Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage. Previous to this he was a soloist with The Australian Ballet, a leading man with Sydney Dance Company, Nomad Dance Theatre and Modern Dans Topluluguu (Turkey) and recently featured in the celebrated Graeme Murphy production of Romeo & Juliet.

As a choreographer Josef has worked with Sydney Dance Company, Newtown Performing Arts and in 2012 made his musical choreographic debut with the production of Every Single Saturday. In 2011 Josef was awarded grant from Voiceless, the animal protection institute, to produce The Funny Vegetarian webisode series.
