Goodman 'Goody' King
Jonathan is quickly emerging as one of Australia’s bright young talents in entertainment. He is a graduate of Davidia Lind Dance Centre’s Diploma Of Performing Arts: Musical Theatre Performance & Commercial Dance (2006). Singer, dancer, actor and musician, Jonathan joins the cast of FAME in the role of Goodman "Goody" King, and is thrilled to be playing saxophone in back-to-back shows: he was previously featured in the 2009 National Tour of Buddy: The Musical. He created a bit of a splash completing two glorious contracts with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, dancing in their acclaimed production shows - Boogie Wonderland, Broadway Rhythm & Rhyme, My Romance and All Access. Previous theatre credits include: Godspell (Company/Cover Jeffery), 42nd Street (Company), Grease (Sonny), Footloose (Travis/Cover Willard), A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (Hero), Hugh Jackman’s: The Boy From Oz (Supernumerary), Hair (Claude), and he had a blast performing the role of Troy Bolton in High School Musical (Dir. Robert Young, Gold Coast).
